EnchantedMC Discord Bot — Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data the EnchantedMC Discord bot collects when it operates in a Discord server, why, and how it is handled.

Data we collect

Discord identifiers such as your Discord user ID, username, and server roles. Used to operate features like support tickets, giveaways, suggestions, leveling, and account linking.

Message counts. We count messages you send in tracked channels to calculate leveling/XP and staff activity statistics. We do not store the text of ordinary messages.

Automated moderation. Message content is scanned in real time for prohibited links or words. If a message is removed, a copy is posted to a private staff-only Discord channel as a moderation log. This is not
stored outside Discord.

Support ticket transcripts. When a support ticket is closed, the full message history of that ticket channel is exported and archived as an HTML file on our own server at cdn.enchantedmc.net, for staff
record-keeping and dispute resolution.

Minecraft account linking. If you use the /link command, we store the association between your Discord ID and your Minecraft account (username and UUID), and related status such as server booster or tag
status, in our database.

Giveaway, suggestion, and advent calendar participation. Entries and votes are recorded against your Discord ID while the event is active.

What we do not collect

We do not collect or store Discord presence data, such as online/idle/offline status or activity and game status.

We do not store the text of ordinary messages outside of tickets or moderation flags.

We do not use any collected data to train machine learning or AI models.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.

Where data is stored

Data is stored in our own private databases and file storage at cdn.enchantedmc.net, accessible only to authorized EnchantedMC staff and the bot itself.

Data retention

Data is retained for as long as it is needed to operate the relevant feature, such as ticket transcripts for support history or linked account data while your accounts remain linked. You may request deletion
at any time, see below.

Your rights

You can request access to or deletion of your data by opening a support ticket in the EnchantedMC Discord server and asking to speak with a member of Management. We will respond to and action reasonable
requests.

Children's privacy

The bot and the EnchantedMC Discord server are not directed at children under 13, consistent with Discord's own Terms of Service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the EnchantedMC Discord server.
